LABORATORY WATER SYSTEMS

P E D L Services Ltd supplies systems capable of producing all internationally recognised grades of laboratory water, precisely tailored to your application. From ultrapure Type I water to high-purity Type II and economical Type III, our systems meet the specific resistivity, microbial, and chemical standards required. These solutions support critical laboratory processes such as HPLC, GC-MS, cell culture, DNA sequencing, media formulation, reagent preparation, and general lab cleaning, ensuring reliable and consistent water quality across all applications. We offer these services for the pharmaceutical and bio tech industries, tailored to the needs.

WATER GRADES AND APPLICATIONS

Our laboratory water solutions cover all key types: Type I (Ultrapure) offers 18.2 MΩ-cm resistivity and is virtually free of ions, particles, and bacteria, ideal for high-precision analysis like DNA sequencing. Type II (High Purity) provides 1–10 MΩ-cm resistivity, low TOC, and minimal microbial load for general laboratory use, media preparation, and feeding Type I systems. Type III (Reverse Osmosis) is economical and reliable, suitable for basic lab processes, glassware washing, autoclave feed, water baths, and humidifiers.

PURIFICATION TECHNOLOGY STACK

PEDL utilises a modular, multi-stage purification approach to ensure redundancy and resource efficiency. Systems begin with pre-treatment and filtration to remove particles, sediment, and chlorine. Reverse Osmosis (RO) removes 95–99% of ions, colloids, and particulates, forming the backbone of Type III water. Deionisation (DI) or Electro-Deionisation (EDI) polishes water for higher purity grades. UV oxidation, sterilisation, ultrafiltration (UF), and microfiltration further reduce TOC, pyrogens, and microorganisms, achieving biological and chemical purity for Type I applications. We also offer water distillation solutions tailored to your needs.

INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING

P E D L Services Ltd integrates water system operational technology (OT) with your digital infrastructure (IT) for complete control and compliance. Real-time monitoring logs critical parameters such as resistivity, TOC, flow rate, and temperature, feeding directly to your network dashboard. Predictive maintenance tracks usage and component life to prevent system failures. Secure remote diagnostics allow engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal downtime, while automatic data archiving ensures compliance with cGMP, GLP, and FDA validation protocols.

COMPLIANCE AND SUPPORT SERVICES

Our laboratory water systems come with full digital compliance and support, ensuring audit-ready operation and continuous reliability. P E D L Services Ltd provides scheduled maintenance, recalibration, and predictive monitoring to maintain system performance and validation status. Remote diagnostics reduce site visits, while comprehensive reporting meets strict regulatory requirements. Contact our specialised systems integration team to assess your current lab water usage, compliance needs, and purity requirements, ensuring your laboratory processes are never compromised by water quality.
